Material and technical base of Enter Steel Almalyk machine-building plant continues to strengthen. Recently the plant has received several new machine tools and multifunctional centres.

- Equipping the plant with new machine tools is primarily due to the need to speed up the production of basic equipment for MOF-3, the construction of which is entering the decisive stage, - said Timur Kuderov, process engineer of the enterprise. - Today at the plant modern machine-tool equipment of KOTEC SYSTEM Co., Ltd. (Korea) has been installed, adjusted and put into operation. Thanks to this we have intensified the production output according to the schedule. It should be noted that the choice of KOTEC as a supplier was not accidental. It is a leading manufacturer and supplier of equipment for engineering plants. The product line includes more than 32 units of machine tools and multifunctional centres. In 2013, KOTEK received ISO 9001:2008 certification.

Among the machine tools supplied to our plant are a gas cutting machine and a KTAS series combination machine," said Timur Kuderov. - The gas-cutting machine is equipped with several burners, which allows cutting a steel sheet into several strips at once, which considerably speeds up the process of preparation of blanks. It is also equipped with torches for various types of work and a burner for precise marking of the workpiece. The user-friendly software allows for quick data loading and ensures accurate reproduction of the set parameters. In turn, the KTAS series machine assembles and straightens steel plates, as well as welds beams of the required configuration under flux. Its operation significantly reduces labour costs, and its compact design allows for economical use of shop space.

This has undoubtedly had a positive impact on labour productivity and created new opportunities for expanding the range and quality of products.
